Foca - Lewis on deck Mat 3. Fix-McGee up now on Mat 2 - should be a wild one.

Foca - Lewis up, nothing in the 1st. Foca starts the 2nd down, gets the escape. Leads 1-0 halfway through the 2nd, and that's how we'll head into the 3rd. Fix falls to McGee.

Lewis starts the 3rd down, gets a quick esc. 1-1. This one is going to be settle by TD. Lewis in on Foca's legs but Foca gest the stalemate. 1 min left.

Come on Foca! Foca in on an attempt, Lewis turns into him, Foca clinging onto a leg, crazy scramble, nothing! SV.

Lots of ties through the first minute of SV but nothing major happens. Lewis gets in on a leg but fights it off. Foca needs to go - rideouts will not be his friend. Nothing close to a TD in SV, and go to tiebreakers. Foca defers, Lewis chooses down.

Foca nearly gets reversed but somehow hangs on, Lewis gets the escape. Foca with 0:18 of RT. Needs to get out quickly. And he's leading on RT!!! FOCA WINS!!!

That was an amazing defense of that near reversal. Wow. And then he had :12 to get out, and got out in :05 with his usual rolling funk. Then defended another attack by Lewis. Finally beats a former national champion (three against Lewis, two against Starocci).

I'm thrilled Foca won and that I won't have to see Lewis's style of wrestling anymore.

Romero of tOSU beats Hidlay in OT to take 3rd. They stay 1 point ahead of Cornell. The Yianni/Sasso match will determine 3rd/4th in the team race.

And Monday takes 3rd - amazing how little separated the top guys at 165.

Team scores headed into the finals. Missouri can't catch up so Cornell has a team trophy locked.

1. Penn State 127.5
2. Iowa 82.5
3. Ohio State 70.5
4. Cornell 68.5
5. Missouri 60.5

tOSU sent 9 wrestlers into the tournament compared to 7 for Cornell. Yet they are battling it out for third place.
Of course what ifs do not count but just thinking about the rookie mistake on a wrestler whom he dominated early on by Cornella would have contributed more points down the line.

Yianni v Sasso for third place, even if Vito wins.
