Some tough matchups but the team is riding some momentum. Let’s go Red!

I am super nervous about all the champ matches against super high caliber opponents.

If you can get riding time, go get it. If you are up 2-3, don't bother taking bottom.

Vito - stall to overtime - win on feet
YD - should win this but can't keep it close as SVN will have some scoring tricks up his sleeve, hopefully YD finds another gear here
CF - score first, don't take bottom - ever.

Same goes for Chris as he will have to defend against riding time in what could be a super close match. Give the point, get back to the feet and win there. Score late in periods from the feet. Don't give up a takedown in first 2 mins. He is wrestling great right now much better than when he faced Starc last time.

Cornell is one of several schools - including Nebraska - that qualified only 7 wrestlers for the tournament. Both Cornell and Nebraska have more points at this juncture than some teams who qualified 10. 9 and 8 wrestlers. https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/1 ... conference

Ungar on Mat 1 to start, Vito on deck Mat 4.

Ungar gets taken down around 1:45 of the 1st and bellies out, Cardinale working him hard. In the semis, Ramos takes Spencer Lee down to his back and has a 4-1 lead after 1!

Ungar starts 2nd in neutral, looking for something but not much going on. Gets in on a single but WV with a tough whizzer and ends up in a crazy scramble and eventual stalemate. 2nd ends 2-0 WV with 1:18 of RT.

Starting the 3rd in neutral. Ungar trying for unders, WV hasn't really take committed shots but has done well countering. Stall warning on WV, 33s left. Ungar can't penetrate, 0:15 left, Ungar takes him to his back! 2-2 but RT may be locked. Cornell challenges the missing back points. 5s left. Challenge lost, no NF. Crap.

Ungar falls in the blood round. Cardinale didn't do much but did just enough.

Glory wins 8-2, Lee leading 5-4 with 50s in the 3rd.

Just as I got over my disappointment that Ungar's toes BARELY left the circle before what should have been the winning swipes as time expired... RAMOS STICKS SPENCER LEE!
